Drs. B.L. Ginsel

Drs. B.L. Ginsel (BIG 19064716601) is sinds 2015 werkzaam in het Streekziekenhuis Koningin Beatrix. Hij studeerde geneeskunde aan de Radboud Universiteit in Nijmegen, waar hij in 2005 het artsexamen behaalde. De vooropleiding algemene heelkunde volgde hij in Gelre ziekenhuizen Apeldoorn. Daarna volgde hij de specialistenopleiding tot orthopedisch chirurg in achtereenvolgend de St. Maartenskliniek (Nijmegen), het Rijnstate (Arnhem) en het UMC St. Radboud (Nijmegen).

Na de opleiding tot orthopedisch chirurg heeft dhr. B.Ginsel zich gedurende 2,5 jaar gesuperspecialiseerd in het plaatsen van kunstheupen en kunstknieën, de revisie prothesiologie (het vervangen van een kunstheup of kunstknie) en de orthopedische traumatologie (ongeluksgeneeskunde).

Dit heeft hij gedaan door één op één samen te werken (fellowship) met een aantal internationaal vooraanstaande orthopedisch chirurgen op deze gebieden: Prof R. Crawford (Brisbane, Australië), prof I. Harris en I. Woodgate (Sydney, Australië).

"Als orthopedisch chirurg heb ik oog voor de houding, de bewegelijkheid en de doelen van elke patiënt. Samen met de patiënt probeer ik de ervaren beperkingen volledig in kaart te brengen en een plan van aanpak te ontwikkelen om de ambities te realiseren. Dit kan door begeleiding, aanpassingen van schoeisel of orthese, of door middel van een operatie. Iedere patiënt is immers uniek. Ik zie u graag op onze polikliniek om uw probleem met u te bespreken."
